Wanda Schultz Obituary
Wanda was born on September 15, 1932, in Decorah, Iowa. Wanda moved to Waterloo, Iowa in her twenties. Through good friends she was introduced to her soon to be husband, Vern W. Schultz. They were married in October of 1954. Wanda worked as an operator for the telephone company. Vern's job provided opportunities to move west and Phoenix became their new home. Their newly built house on north 15th place was home for more than fifty years. Their neighbors became close friends and just like family. Settling into their new life in Phoenix, they became active members of Faith Lutheran Church. Wanda served on the pre-school board and volunteered in many of the church ministry projects. Wanda will be missed by her loving family: daughter Lauri Curran (Mike), grandsons Michael Curran (Dez) and Daniel Curran and his partner Jennifer Simmons. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Vern and son Scott. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 3 at 3:00PM. Please join us at Faith Lutheran Church 801 E. Camelback Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85014. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Faith Lutheran Church or Hospice of the Valley.
