Mr. Wayne Stanley LeBlanc, age 55 years, a resident of Thunder Bay, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2010. Born and raised in the city Wayne spent his entire life here. He attended local schools including, Selkirk, Churchill and Confederation College in the Multi Media Course. He had been employed at CKPR as a technician. Wayne was very involved in volunteer work through St. Joseph's Care Group; he was also involved with The Barber Shop Quartet for a couple of years. He very much enjoyed his Sunday outings with Louis Otto and Wendy Mace. He enjoyed the time spent with his family and friends, reading countless books and watching movies together. Wayne is survived by his father William, brothers Brian and wife Cindy and their children Jennifer and Shaun, Dennis and wife Patti and their children Denzel and Garrett, Darren and wife Lisa and their children Lynsay and Dana. He was predeceased by his mother Helen. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Blake Funeral Chapel with Rev. Daniel Lapolla c.s. officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. If friends desire, memorials to St. Joseph's Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Wayne LeBlanc in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 12, 2011.
