Wesley Heath Obituary
Wesley was born in Mildred, Pa., on Nov. 28, 1935, a son of the late Robert Heath Sr. and Mary Ellen Hunsinger Heath. He married the former Elizabeth Mary Shepard, of Deer Isle, Maine on Dec. 17, 1978 in the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Harrisburg, Pa.
Wesley worked in Florida for 20 years and moved back to Pennsylvania in 1976. He worked in the Sullivan County School District, as a custodian and worked part-time at PennDOT. In 2000 he retired from both jobs.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Elizabeth at home; sons Terry Heath, St. Augustine, Fla., Danny Heath, St. Augustine, Fla., Jeffrey Heath, St. Augustine, Fla., Donald (Vivian) Heath, St. Augustine, Fla., Wesley R. (Shana) Heath Jr., Sonestown, Pa., Justin (Billy Jo) Heath, Dushore, Pa., step-son Jesse (Debra) Gibbs Dushore, Pa.; sister-in-law Rose Hutchinson of Deer Isle, Maine. Wesley is also survived by 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by brothers Robert Heath Jr., George Heath, Ernest Heath, James W. Heath, John Heath, James L. Heath and also by sisters Cora Elchak, Margie O'Connor, and Margaret Hughes.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, Pa., with pastor, Rev. Robert G. Kaltenbaugh, officiating.
Friends and family may call at the Homer Funeral Home on Monday, July 7, 2014, from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, Pa.
