I thought I signed the guestbook before, but better late than never! Wes was my favorite CSR at the call center. I worked with him at KDOL, and he was my best tester for applications. He did his job professionally and was always willing to help. He was the employee to go to because he was just excellent in all he did and had such a great attitude. He left an impression on me, and I always had great respect for him serving in the military. I’m sorry for your loss and he was a great person and friend to all! He died a hero!
Thank you for the ultimate sacrifice TSGT Kubie.

Condolences all the way from northwest PA. Our local VFW is very good about following and honoring any veteran that dies on duty, wherever they may be. They had TSgt Kubie's name on the sign out front yesterday, so I had to come home and search, like I always do when I see a new name there. As a retired USAF veteran who has also been to Afghanistan, any JTAC who served in that theater holds a very special place in my heart. It takes a special kind of man to do that job, his family should be extremely proud.

It was a pleasure meeting him and his family at a Kubie birthday dinner last year. Tiff always mentions Wes every time we get together. She, and her family, are so proud of him!
This is truly a devastating loss to the Kubie family. No words can offer any peace or consolation during this difficult time. I can only ask that the Good Lord shine his everlasting Grace upon the Kubie family for Wes' service.

We are very sorry to hear about the death of Wes. We know him and his parents and siblings. I had weekly interactions with him in Scouting while the family lived in Merriam. He was bright, kind and energetic. He was an achiever and positive. I remember his ever present smile and interest in life. I am sure he led and taught well as he served our Country in his military roles. We pray for each of you in his family. We are very sorry for your great great loss.

I'm from Wellsville, long gone from KS but still have family properties; pre-pandemic, I would get there several times a year. By getting local news, I read of the accident & the loss of Mr. Kubie. As a former Air Force reservist, I appreciate his service. I once knew his aunt and met his late Grandfather. I offer condolences & wish his family the best support from within & from friends and the community.

To family and friends of Wes. I did not personally know him, but several of my young friends did. It sounds like he was an amazing young man, someone for his family to be proud of. Hold tight to your memories, and share them with his children. He should always be their hero. Wes, thank you for your service to our Country. Rest in Peace young man.

I met Wes in 2019 in Afghanistan. He was the coolest and most humble guy I met over there. He had a smile that was just contagious and made a bad place a little better. God Speed Brother and God Bless your family.

Our son, Cole Frederick was in the rollover accident with Wes. Although we are grateful our son’s injuries were severe, they were minor compared to Wes and Jaden. Our feeling are so mixed. We thank God our son has been released from the hospital and is convalescing at home, the loss of Wes weighs heavily on our hearts, and we continue to pray for Jaden to heal. All of the men in the TACP, ASOS, JTAC world are extraordinary people and their accomplishments are great. I can’t imagine the intense pride in who Wes was, and the terrible grief Abby, Bruce and Diana, and the greater Kubie family must be feeling. Our hearts are broken.

I am so sorry for your loss. Wes was a co-worker at Dillon's and at KDOL. He and I both left Dillon's around the same time. I started in another job that wasn't right for me and out of the blue Wes calls me and told me about a job where he was working at, KDOL, and that I would like it there, so I applied and got the job. I am still working for the state. I asked Wes why he reached out to me and he said, I saw were not happy at your job and I don't like to see my friends unhappy. If it wasn't for him I don't know what I would be doing. He was a very nice man and I was glad to call him my friend. He will be missed. God Speed.

Kubie family I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked with this outstanding young man at KDOL. He was so kind, friendly, helpful and honored to know him. One day there was a snake in the hallway of our building. No one would do anything. Wes, got up walked into the hallway, grabbed the snake and released it outside. He was our hero! He was our hero doing obviously what he loved serving our country. Grateful for him. He often came into our lunch/break area talking on his phone to his wife, which clearly could tell he adored. He spoke of his sweet children too. My heart is sad. God Bless you for sharing such a wonderful young man with us.
