I was shocked when you called me today telling me about Wes's passing.I've only known Wes the past three years or so when he was giving me advice on how to restore my piano.I think wes was one of the nicest people I have ever met.I really enjoyed talking to him about pianos and old cars.I will miss him.

Heather I was very saddened to hear this news.I have known you &
Wes for many years at Bridge City Speedway, Since Wes raced the Five&Dime car& The Peppis Car,I was
always amazed how Wes could win races with bald tires but he did well. You are both a fixture at the track, Wes will be sadly missed

Heather: It has been many years since I have seen the two of you but those many years of working with the SSCRA have fond memories for me. I remember well the first year Wes came out the the track, it was near the end of the season and he thought he would try it out and I guess he caught the bug as he remained for many years. I was very saddened to read about his passing and would like to let you know that my sympathies are with you during this very sad time. May the many years of happy memories help to ease the pain of the loss of your dear husband and friend. Take care.
