Will T. Taylor
Savannah
Will T Taylor (79) passed away peacefully on 3/16/20.
Will was born on 7/19/1940 in Oak Park, Illinois.
He served in the army from 1957-1960.
In 1983, he met and married the love of his life his "baby-doll" Lauri. For 36 years they navigated the waters of business, life, and love.
His greatest joy and pride was his son, Lance. He treasured their time together.
Will mastered the upholstery trade from his father.
In 1999, Will & Lauri opened Taylor Upholstering in Savannah, GA. Will took great pride in their shop, in particular, engaging with clients over the last 20 years, whom often became close friends.
He loved to be out on the water in his boats and driving his pristine 1999 Mercedes.
If you knew Will, you knew he could be a little rough around the edges, but, at the same time, had a wonderful sense of humor and a heart of gold.
Will is survived by his wife Lauri; son Lance; his upholstery son, Chad; and his beloved Jack Russell, Skipper.
A private service has been held by the family.
Please consider making donations in Will's memory to any of the following charities:
The Humane Society of Savannah, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or COPD Foundation.
