William Arthur "Bill" Badders

Funeral for William Arthur "Bill" Badders, 82, of Nacogdoches, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Fredonia Hill Baptist Church. Badders died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006. Born Jan. 15, 1924 in San Antonio, he was the son of Ernest and Elizabeth Badders. He was an attorney and a veteran of World War II, where he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a member of Fredonia Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Janelle Linthicum Badders; two sons, Jeff Badders and Tim Badders of Nacogdoches; 10 grandchildren; his brothers, Bud Badders and John "Bobby" Badders; and sisters, Marion Garner and Dorothy Shattenburg of San Antonio. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Cason Monk Metcalf Funeral Home.
