I am sorry to hear of your father's death. My father died over 40 years ago, and my mother too. You are blessed to have your father see you become successful in life and be able to give back to him some of the things he gave you while growing up. The A-PLUS family have you in our prayers and if you need me just email or call. A-PLUS National President

Mrs Battles, Bill & Charon
My family will never forget the special wedding dance of the bride & groom's father. It was one of the most touching memories for us. For anyone to be so sick and able to carryout one moment in time for Karen;it's just precious. May faith reassure you that grief will soften and love will always endure.

Aunt Ruthie, Charon (Cherbie) and Billy: Words cannot express the sorrow I feel about Uncle Battles. I consider your family my second family; I feel that close to every one of you. Many of my good childhood memories "took root" with the wonderful times we all spent together. I will miss Uncle Battles tremendously. My most sincere sympathy.

I only met Charon's father once or twice, and this was in the past year or two. I've known Charon as a colleague and friend for nearly 12 years ... all that to say, the heart is touched when the transition is made.

I will sincerely miss his graciousness, his ready smile, his caring, his pride in his family, his devotion to friends, his
thoughtfullness of other people, his
dedication to being a "good father" and most of all, his laughter. I always called him by his nickname.
I truly loved "Battles" as a friend throughout all of the 56 years that I knew him.

Bill,
Your father was a great man and a real joy to be around. He always had a smile on his face and was interested in what you were doing and how you where. As you know both our fathers worked together and my dad always said "you can trust Battles" and that was some of the best advice he ever gave me! But I just want to add you honor your father by the way you live your life it's still true " you can trust Battles" Bill your father is at rest may God Bless him as he blessed us by giving us such a great man.

I knew Bill very well during our days as employees of the Pittsburgh Post Office. Always cheerful to laugh and bring that same spirit to others. He was so proud of his childrens accomplishments in life. Bill was well liked by those who worked with him. No wonder, he was just a nice guy.
May he rest in peace.

My condolences to the Battles family. I have known and worked with Charon for 14 years. She is the most acknowledged and appreciated person on this staff, judging by the honors and recognitions she has received from so many appreciative colleagues and organizations.
The seed of her accomplishments that elicit such recognition comes from somewhere, undoubtedly some from her beloved father.

Mom Ruth, Charon, William and family:
We are sorry for the loss of your dad. Randy, the kids and I enjoyed all stories and chats we shared with your dad. It's not hard to see just exactly where your sweetness bloomed from Charon. We will keep you and your family in prayer.
