William (Bill) P. Creviston, 63, Pierce City, Mo., died Jan. 2, 2009, at his home, following an illness since September 2007. Mr. Creviston was born June 28, 1945, at Stotts, City, Mo., and was a lifelong area resident. He was a self employed mechanic, carpenter and master cabinet maker. He is survived by his mother, Annie Creviston, Pierce City; six brothers, J.O. Creviston, Gainesville, Texas, Marion Cox, Warsaw, Mo., George Dickerson, Neosho, Henry Howard Creviston, Warrenton, Mo., Woodrow Creviston, Diamond, Mo., and Frank Creviston, Neosho; and six sisters, Mary Alice Manley, Kansas City, Mo., Edna Irene Eastburn, Pierce City, Nettie Jane Creviston, Pierce City, Joyce Marie Girdner, Neosho, Nancy Ellen Durance, Davison, Mich., and Carling Wheeler, Granby. He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Creviston; brother, Albert Ellsworth Creviston; sister, Carlene Creviston; and nephew, Kurtis Hill. Services will be Tuesday, Jan. 6, at 1 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel in Granby, Dr. Jerry Siegel will officiate. Interment will follow in the Harvey Cemetery, LaRussell, Mo., and family will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home, Granby, on Monday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Contribution in memory of Bill may be made to the William Creviston Memorial Fund in care of Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 26, Granby, Mo. 64844.
