William Davis Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 1, 2023.
Bill Davis peacefully passed away surrounded by family on November 19, 2023, in Dover, New Hampshire. He was born on March 31, 1944, in Warren, Ohio. Bill was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Bill will always be remembered for his warm and welcoming personality, which brightened the lives of all who knew him. His sense of humor brought joy and laughter to those fortunate enough to share in his company. Bill had a way of making everyone feel at ease, creating a comforting atmosphere wherever he went.

In addition to being a loving family man, Bill dedicated more than 20 years of his life to serving his country as a Physician Assistant (P.A.) in the U.S. Air Force, then spent time as a civil servant working for the U.S. Navy. His military associations were a testament to his unwavering commitment and loyalty.

After retiring as a P.A. Bill embarked on an entrepreneurial venture in the field of massage therapy, establishing a successful business alongside his beloved wife, Nancy. Together, they touched the lives of many, offering healing and comfort through their skilled hands.

Bill's memory will forever be cherished by his wife, Nancy, and their children, Kim (Joe), Jeff, Janet (Karl), and Kristine. Bill also leaves behind three grandchildren, Megan (Billy), Samantha, and Roxanne, as well as his treasured great-grandson Emmett.

He was a pillar of strength and support, always there to guide and encourage his loved ones. Bill's siblings, Barb, Rosie, Denny, Blaine, Penny, and Larry, will also hold his memory close to their hearts, as he was a devoted brother who shared a bond that could never be broken.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Vivian, as well as his sisters Pat and Martha. While we mourn his loss, we find solace in the beautiful memories he left behind. Bill's kindness, love, and laughter will forever resonate within our hearts.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor and celebrate Bill's life. During this time, we will gather to pay tribute to a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many. May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to us all.

I am grateful for the time I got to spend with Bill and Nancy at Appleton Oaks. They made my time there very memorable. He was a very sweet and helpful man. I will miss him greatly.
