HARDEN, William G. age 43; our Lord called home a beloved husband, father, son, nephew, cousin and friend, unexpectedly on Monday, December 9, 2013 in Gardnier, Kansas with his wife by his side. William was born on July 8, 1970 in Dayton, OH to Ellis Harden and Pamela Parker. He attended Dayton Public Schools, Trotwood Madison High School, and graduated from Trotwood Madison, Class of 1989. William is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ellis and Elvester Harden and maternal grandmother, Mozell Parker. He leaves to cherish his memories: a devoted and loving wife of 25 years, Dana Harden (Harris); (2) daughters, Gine' and Jada Harden, all of Gardnier, Kansas; father, Ellis (Tikeitha) Harden of Dayton, OH; mother, Pamela (Calvin) Vance of Rochester, NY; mother-in-law, Sherry Harris of Columbus, OH, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services 11:00 A.M., FRIDAY, December 20, 2013 at SUMMIT CHRISTIAN CHURCH, 4021 Denlinger Rd., with Pastor Shelby Walker, officiating. Viewing will be held 9:00 A.M., Friday; the family will receive friends 10:00 A.M., until time of service. Interment: Greencastle Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Thomas Funeral Home, 4520 Salem Ave. On-line condolences may also be sent to the family at www.thomasfunerals.com

Time passes but the memories are still fresh in my mind. To say I miss you William is an understatement. God called you home, not in our time, but in HIS time. Your time on this earth was not wasted and you touched and transformed many lives, one of them being mine. Thank you for being part of my life.

Time has passed by so fast but has not or never will replace the thoughts of my nephew William. I miss him so much and that smile. He was my bowling and traveling buddy. To my sister Pamela, you are always in my thoughts and prayers and love you so much. William will always be remembered and loved. Each time I text the girls and see them on Facebook, I see and think about William through them.

You were a wonderful son, husband, father and the greatest step-son any one could ever wish for. I love you and will miss you. I'll cherish forever the conversation we had during our visit for Thanksgiving 2013.

William, I don't know where to begin..my brother, my sisters keeper..my heart hurts so bad. YOU ARE A Wonderful Husband, Father, Uncle, brother, and friend. It seems God always take the good ones young and you were definitely a great one. I love you so much and will miss you even more. I have so many good memories that I can't believe this is real.
