William Hubbard Obituary
Bill spent the last years of his life caring for his beloved mother, Patricia Jones, a testament to the deep bond they shared. He was also a proud father to his daughter, Emily Hubbard. Bill is survived by his sister Sheila Callahan; his brother Jonathan Jones (Kim); nieces Samantha Callahan and Brandi Lewis; nephew Jeffery Magro; and a sister he recently reconnected with, Christie Scott. He was preceded in death by his biological father, William Carmack Hubbard Jr., and his cherished stepfather, Robert "Bob" Jones.
A passionate martial artist, Bill excelled as a student of Aikido and Zanshin MMA. His dedication to martial arts reflected his protective nature, extending not only to his family but also to the friends he considered family. Saturdays were often spent cheering on Alabama football alongside his mother, sharing their love for the Crimson Tide.
Bill's warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His memory will be celebrated at a special gathering on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Brooklane Community Center in Hueytown, Alabama. Friends and loved ones are invited to join in honoring Bill's remarkable journey through life.
May his legacy of love and compassion continue to inspire all who knew him.

I knew Bill in the 90's and 2000's. We had some good times and laughs. We had some inside jokes. Back in the pre-technology days, I took a picture of a business on 1st Avenue North in Birmingham called Shirt Sleeve Service with a disposable camera. Bill said "now that's an odd thing to take a picture of". He always shook his head at my quirkiness. Bill will certainly always be remembered.
