WILLIAM LENART Obituary
WILLIAM "BILL" J.
Passed away peacefully February 11, 2018, surrounded by his family after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his wife, Pamela L. Lenart; his five children, Heather Silver, Amy Lenart, Courtney Patel, Nicole Rumbold, and William R. Lenart; and his two grandchildren, Aniya and Kiran Patel. Bill was a dedicated public servant of 38 years for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers where he always worked to make sure the community had a voice. Family and friends received Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the GEORGE A. THOMA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 10418 Perry Hwy., Wexford. In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations to the Allegheny Health Network Hospice Healthcare at Home 1-800-381-8080 or www.ahn.org.

I will always remember playing softball with Bill on the Corps of Engineers "Reds" back in the '90s. He was a competitor and a great friend.

Dear Lenart Family,
Larry and I send our deepest sympathy on the loss of Bill. What a wonderful man he was. I will always remember the fun times we had on our Spirit trips. Softball and family was Bill's life. May he rest in peace.
