William Stewart Lochhead

Mesa - William Stewart "Bill" Lochhead, Loving Husband, Father, Papa, Son, Brother peacefully passed June 10, 2024, in Mesa, Arizona.

Bill was born October 5, 1941, in St Louis, Missouri. Bill is survived by his loving wife of over 60 years Patricia Ann (Furdek) Lochhead, his son Edward Charles Lochhead (April Beach), his Daughter, Laura Ann Frazier (Arthur Frazier), his grandchildren Nicholas Frazier (Kaylee Atkisson), Andrew Frazier (Christina Maria Castillo) , Daniel Lochhead, Christopher Lochhead (Kylie Pelton) and John Lochhead along with his great grandchildren Addison Frazier, Cayden Frazier, Nicholas Frazier and Sophia Frazier.

Bill loved his family beyond words. He loved when everyone gathered, he loved outdoor grilling under the orange tree and adored his wonderful yard. He approached life with enthusiasm and zest that was contagious to all. He cherished every moment spent with his family from telling stories to playing games and offering wise guidance. His love knew no bounds, and his legacy will continue to inspire and nurture his family for generations to come.

Bill retired from State Farm Insurance as a Claims Section Manager in 2004. He was honest, forthright, professional, a valued mentor and committed to his work family and customers. His opinion was sought by many, knowing it was well reasoned and likely the best answer to the question at hand. Bill possessed a professional grace that was unequaled.

As a friend the same comments are true, plus a few others. Considerate, kind, fun loving and committed to his family, extended family within State Farm and extensive church family.

Though he may no longer be with us in person, Bill's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His love, wisdom, and memories will forever be cherished, and he will be deeply missed.
