William B. "Big Bill" Montgomery The funeral service for Sfc. William B. "Big Bill" Montgomery will be held Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at 8 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donnie Lunsford officiating. The burial will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the VA National Cemetery in Mountain Home, Tenn., with military honors conducted by the Bristol VFW Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6-7:45 p.m. prior to the service. Friends and family are welcomed anytime at his home at 293 Bellehaven Drive, Bristol, VA. His grandsons, which were the "pride of his life", will serve as honorary pallbearers, Derrick Widener, Dustin Widener, Michael Montgomery, Dexter Montgomery, Hunter Montgomery, Jacob Montgomery and Matthew Montgomery. Online condolences may be registered at www.weaverfuneralhome.net Sfc. William B. "Big Bill" Montgomery, age 70, went to be with the Lord at his home, Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009. Arrangements have been made with Weaver Funeral Home.
