William NASBY Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Bill Nasby announce his passing.
He battled his illness with such courage and strength. He leaves to mourn, his son Myles (Emma and Sadie); his daughter Emily; his stepson Kyle Groat; his sisters and brothers, Bette (Les) Strass, Bob (Marion) Nasby, Barb (Lindsay) Wickens, Brigette (Gord) Wolfe, Matthew (Melanie) Nasby and Baby Emma, Melanie Nasby; his nieces and nephews, Jeff Strass and great- nephew Jagger, Reannon Strass, Griffin and Elizabeth Wolfe. Special thanks to ex- wives, Rachelle Prytula (Nasby) and Holly Groat for all their love, help and support during Bill's last days at Devon Hospital.
Bill was predeceased by his brother, Russell Nasby; his parents, Floyd and Maryon Nasby and his niece, Natalie Nasby Wickens.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Bill at 2:00 p.m. on December 22 at the Best Western Sunrise Inn & Suites at 3101 - 43 Avenue, Stony Plain.
Donations in memory of Bill can be made to your Charity of Choice.

Bill loved to come downtown in his boat. The High Level is 1 of 8 Big Bridges in Edmonton. Its a nice day today and being a Sunday and all the rain lately, he'd be on it heading my way today. Its 6:34am, he wouldn't be sleeping, Bill would be up by now having a coffee. Morning Bill.

The ice on the river leaves once again, missing a close friend as we all do. A colourful companion no longer here to brighten our day or ask us to come play but we do remember all the fun we've had with Billy each day. "William Tell" I would say he would always reply; "I will never tell, whats up Miler, come play with me. One can only Hope that we all can come play with Bill once again...

I was saddened to hear about the passing of Billy. I first met Billy when I worked at Franks Place in Spruce Grove as he was a regular there. Billy was such a character. From there, I would bump into Billy from time to time throughout the years and he was always full of life and always had something funny to say. Billy will be missed.

Bill will be truly missed by my daughter Sheryl and family.
We so enjoyed their visit to Ontario this summer. They had so many plans, for their future to-gether. We have known Bill for approx 3 1/2 years since he has lived with Sheryl.
