So sorry to hear about your loss, may the wonderful memories of your loved one sustain you until God's promises are fulfilled. (John 6:40)

Pat was not only a great athlete but he was a good man and friend to all fortunate enough to know him. We graduated the same year from Vacaville High and in those days, the Bulldogs were a "power house" in nearly all sports. When we were seniors, we lost a close championship football game with Rancho Cordova (7-6) but we won championships in basketball, wrestling, baseball and other sports. I saw Pat after we graduated from time to time and he was always a good man and gentleman. Men like him don't come along every day and while I grieve his loss, I am grateful the world is better because of the short but meaningful life he lived to the fullest. My thought and prayers are with Pat, his family, and many friends. Jon Lopey, Sheriff, Siskiyou County (Class of 1972)

I didn't know Pat that well personally but it was a joy to play ball with such a talent. He was so smooth at everything sports, made it look so easy.
