Willie Lee Austin, 78, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at his home. He was born September, 29, 1935 to Marrion Thomas and Annie Mae Wallace Austin. He served in the Mississippi Army National Guard. He was a factory worker, and a member of New Life Church of Jesus Christ. He enjoyed fishing, working on bicycles and cleaning cars.

Funeral services will be at 3: 00 P.M. Sunday, June 29, 2014 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Melvin Harrison and Bro. Marshall Tennison officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of eight years, Anna Willis Austin; three daughters, Patricia (Bill) Driskell of Acton, TN, Wanda (Jimmy) Studdard and Linda (Ray) Flanagan, both of Cairo; one son, Ray (Greta) Austin of Baldwyn; two step-daughters, Donna Trimm of Corinth and Nancy Grissom of Burnsville; one step-son, Michael Robertson of Guntown; one brother, Lester Austin; two sisters, Shirley Stagner and Christine Thompson; 12 grandchildren, Sylvia Wouldridge, Ray Austin Jr., Kimberly Lee, CarLee Pannell, Brooke Austin, Crystal Elmore, Starr Rogers, Bill Driskell III, Sharon Arnold, Sonya McKenzie, Ray Flanagan Jr., and Jimmy Studdard Jr.; nine step-grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 16 step-great-grandchidren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Austin; a infant son, Kenneth Wayne Austin; his parents; one sister, Nellavee Brooks; and one great-granddaughter, Zechiariah Leona McKenzie.
