Willie Bell Godbold (nee Hannon), age 79 of Cincinnati, was called home the morning of September 24, 2015 at Horizons Health Management Center. She was born in Arlington, Alabama on October 12, 1935, the daughter of William and Estelle (Dumas) Hannon. She confessed Christ at an early age, where she was a member of the Pine Level Missionary Baptist Church in Arlington, AL. After relocating to Cincinnati, OH in 1963, Willie Bell became a member of Beulah Baptist Church. In 1976, she became a faithful member of James Temple Church of God in Christ, in 1995 she became a member of the New Christian Life Missionary Baptist Church. Willie Bell was the devoted wife of Jordan Godbold, and loving mother and friend. She greeted all with a smile, which will not be forgotten. Willie Bell was preceded in death by six brothers; William, Toney James, Lonnie, J.W., Johnny Miles, T.J. and three sisters; Carrie, Reva and Mary Lou. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband and three children; Emily Dale and Nancy Ellen of Cincinnati and Irish James (Jennifer) Godbold of Killeen, TX. She is survived by seven grandchildren; Derrick DeMarco, Kenya Danille, David Damar, Shawn Jonathan, Brittni Nicole, Maya Louise and Noah James. Fifteen great-grandchildren; Maddison, Honesty, David, Elijah, Alaijah, Samarah, Rashawn DeMarco, Antonio, Antonio, Tyler, Secret, Jeremiah, Cameron, Jordan and the late Derrick Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd at the New Christian Life Baptist Church, 3043 Hackberry, from 9 am until Funeral Service at 10 am. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Memorial Park.
