Homegoing celebration for Wilson Hawkins, Jr. of 3294 Hwy 22 West Sparta, Georgia will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Sandy Run A.M.E. Church at 1:00 p.m. with interment at the church cemetry. Remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 noon until the hour of service Rev. J.W. McClain officiating. He joined Sandy Run A.M.E. Church at an early age and was a faithful and devoted trustee member. His memory will always be cherished by his wife Jannie Wilson Hawkins, Mother, Johnnie Mae Hawkins, three daughters, Tracey Hawkins, Shawn Stephens, Tonya Cummings; three sons, timothy Hawkins, Eric (Pamela) Wilson, Jamie Wilson; a brother, Lucious (Beatrice) Hawkins; ten grandchildren, one great grandchild, aunts, uncles, special aunt Arlean Justice of Detroit, Michigan, one nephew, one niece, and a host of other relatives and friends.Peoples Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
