Zoel ROBINSON

ROBINSON, Zoel J. Of Oliver, B.C., formerly of Edmonton and Lafond, Alberta, passed away at the age of 81 years. Zoel was born in Lafond on May 10, 1921 to Leon and Dalina. He married Marie Doria Cartier on August 4, 1941. Zoel and Marie had eight children, Albert, Doris, Lucille, May, Sally, Guy, Aline and Joanne. He was predeceased by his son, Albert in 1954 and wife, Marie in 1971. Zoel then married Ramona and accepted her daughter Nancy as his own. He is survived by 13 grandchildren, Tom, Chris, Lori, Garth, Glen, Linnea, Ian, Josh, Justin, Jordan, Scot, Sarah and Alexandra as well as four great-grandchildren, Kiera, Eric, Alana and Jason. Zoel enjoyed a long career in the carpentry trade. Over the years his memberships included the Moose Lodge. He always enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and dancing. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 2nd at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Graham Funeral Home in Oliver. Prayers and Visitation will be held piror to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Donations gratefully accepted to the charity of one's choice.
