Joyce Jacobs
Palmyra - Joyce E. Jacobs, age 81 of Palmyra died in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Gaslight Village Assisted Living and Memory Care in Adrian. She was born December 23, 1939 in Jamestown, New York to Lawrence C. and Margaret E. (Micheau) Peet. On December 13, 1958 she married David Jacobs and he preceded her in death on October 26, 2020.
Surviving Joyce is a daughter Connie Sue Jacobs (Michael Gritzmaker) of Blissfield; a sister, Donna Shepard of Jasper, MI; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David, two sons, Brian Jacobs and Steven Jacobs and brother-law Dick Shepard.
Joyce has requested cremation and there will be no services. You may send condolences to the family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee. Envelopes are available at the Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home, Blissfield.
