Michele Posten Obituary
Adrian - Michele Lee (Szozda) Posten, 50, of Adrian, passed away May 31, 2021 at her home. Michele was born July 30, 1970 in Toledo to Sam and Sandra (Winckiewicz) Szozda. Michele was a riding instructor and horse trainer for many years and she was so proud of her students who many still would contact her for advice on horses. She loved all animals, especially her 2 Doberman's "Geist" and "Hijinx." Michele was an avid reader of diverse subjects, especially Philosophy and History. She also enjoyed traveling especially England which she traveled to many times.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Matt Posten; father, Sam (Veronica) Szozda; step-brothers, Ryan, Paul and Charles Scharfy; aunts, Kathy (Terry) Wachowiak, Laura (Brad) Major, Tina (Rick) Zdrada; and uncle, Tom (Kathy) Szozda; and many cousins. Michele was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra and brother, Fred.
The family will receive guests Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Humane Society in Michele's memory.
