ST. HENRY — Carl B. Borger, 89, died Aug. 21, 2016.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Philothea. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Philothea, with military rites.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.

My sympathy to all of the Borger family. Carl was from "The Greatest Generation", and they don't make 'em like that anymore. I'll always remember him as a humble man who loved what he did for a living. May he now rest in peace.
