FINDLAY — Freda M. Hunter, 81 of Findlay, passed away at 6:43 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Otterbein Cridersville Senior Life Community. She was born on December 24, 1936 to the late William and Wilma Fletcher. Freda married Robert F. Hunter on October 22, 1983 and he preceded her in death on October 9, 2000.
She is survived by two daughters; Judith (David) Epley of Lima, Karen (Bradley) Haight of Hilliard, three step-sons; Robert (Laura) Rigel of FL, Terry Hunter of Carey, Keith Hunter of TX and a step-daughter Pamela Rigel of FL. Mrs. Hunter is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, sisters-in-law Mary Fletcher of Wapakoneta and Dorcas (Jim) Keatley of FL and special friends, Jon and Sandy Burnside of Findlay.
Freda worked for and retired from Anast Yates Insurance. She was a member of the A.B.W.A. and was also the owner of Freda's Antiques. She enjoyed flowers, birds and was a avid reader who also enjoyed playing bingo. Freda also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME where the family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. Thursday until the time of service. Chaplain Peter Citerin will officiate and burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff at Otterbein Nursing Home and Putnam County Hospice for the special care they provided.

Sorry to hear of Freda's passing. I can remember when I was just a little boy of going to Freda's in Kenton to send the night over and have lots of fun when she was married to Bobby. Rest in peace.
