I had the pleasure to meet Gert at Elmcroft. She was a beautiful lady with the best sense of humor. She loved her family so much, and never ran out of nice things to say! She always made me smile, and you never knew what might come out of her sweet mouth. She truly was a firecracker, and I am blessed to have known her!!!!

To Gertrude's Family,
I want to extend my sympathy to your family for your loss. Gertrude was my cousin. My mother was Leta Ludwig Tucker, Anna Ludwig Pillar's youngest sister. We have never met and I am sure it has been probably 50 years since I actually have seen your mother. For years we would only communicate at Christmas. I will pray for all of you during this difficult time.

Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Aunt Gert was a tremendous source of laughter and fun for as long as I can remember. I always remember her with a smile, and always will.
