LIMA — Harry R. Craft, 74, of Lima, passed away at 10:59 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on April 3, 1947 in Salyersville, KY to Estill and Madeline (Workman) Harmon, who both preceded him in death. On October 18,1965, he married Patricia Helmig, who survives in Lima.
Harry had worked and retired from Ford Motor Company, Lima Engine Plant, after 29 years. He was a former member of the Lima Eagle's. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards and watching wrestling and Westerns on TV. Harry was a fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals. He loved scratch-off lottery tickets but above all loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife Patricia Craft of Lima, he is survived by his sons Michael Craft of Kentucky and Brad Craft of Lima; his daughters Tiffany (David) Elliott of Lima, Patricia (Dwayne) Roby of Lima, Chrystal (Gary) Martin of Lima, Angela (Anthony) Marlow of Lima and Jennifer (James) Newman; twenty grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings Estill (Virginia) Harmon, Jr. of Lima, Kit (Marion) Harmon of Lima, Susie Gipson of Lima, Kay Gipson of Lima, Barbara Foust of Lima, Faye Cole of Kentucky and Oma Puckett of Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by a grandchild; his sisters Norma Patrick and Linda "Judy" Watkins; his brothers-in-law Raymond Gipson, Ray Foust, and NJ Cole.
According to his wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
