Linda Spring Obituary

LINDA SPRING

LIMA — Linda L. Spring, 71, of Lima, passed away surrounded by her loving family at 3:34 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at her daughter's residence and went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She was born on July 27, 1944 in Delphos to Glenn H. and Lula (DeWitt) Clarkson, who both preceded her in death.

Linda was a licensed beautician and barber for several area shops, the last of which was Studio 320 in Delphos, where she retired from in 2010. She had attended Shawnee Alliance Church, where she regularly attended Bible Study. She was a volunteer for the Red Cross, where she had helped during Hurricane Katrina. Linda loved to garden, read, shop, travel, cook and attend hair shows. She loved to spend time with her family on holidays. Linda had a beautiful smile and a contagious laugh.

Surviving are her son Ryan (Gina) Spring of Grove City, OH; her four daughters Candace (Jeff) Cross of Delphos, Lisa Stockwell of Cincinnati, Christine Martin of Delphos and Lea (Robert) Diehl of Lima; her eleven grandchildren Andrew (Amanda) and Alix (Kayla) Cross, Karissa Stockwell, Jordin (Katrina Hackworth) Griesdorn, Rece and Brock Diehl, Bridget, Garret and Blaine Martin, Mikayla and Eli Spring; her two great-grandchildren Arriyah Izeh and Annabelle Cross; her sister Karen (Don) Putt of VanWert.

She was preceded in death by her grandson Collin J. Stockwell.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 4, 2014 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL with Pastor Sandy Rufener officiating.

Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Delphos.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita's Hospice, the Leukemia Society or the Shawnee Alliance Church
