MARILYN WRIGHT
LIMA — Marilyn Ann Wright, 74, passed away September 24, 2014, at 12:06 pm, at her residence. Marilyn was born May 26, 1940 in Lima, OH, to Carl E. and Eleanor (Davis) Miller who preceded her in death. On June 21, 1958 she married Otis Roger Wright who survives in Lima.
Marilyn was a 1958 graduate of the Lima Senior High School. After high school she married the love of her life, Roger and was focused on raising her family. Once her children were a little more self sufficient she became very involved in the community. She volunteered with many different organizations. She was a member of the Lima Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Lima Civic and Convention Center Board for Young People, Sigma Delta Sorority and the Shawnee Schools where she was past president of the Shawnee Football Mom's and the Shawnee Mom's Club. Marilyn was also a charter member of theWestside Swim and Racquet Club, the Shawnee Country Club where she enjoyed playing golf and theWestgate Bowling League for almost 30 years. She was proud of and enjoyed being involved in hosting the 1st and the 25th Square Fair Toast of the City events and also more recently, serving as a hostess at the Olive Garden. Marilyn loved Shawnee High School football and basketball where she was so proud of her children and grandchildren in whatever activities that they were involved in. Marilyn had been a member of the Lima First United Methodist Church and later in life the Lima Community Church of the Nazarene. Above all else, Marilyn loved her life, her family and taking care of her home and her gardens. She had many friends and she loved life to the fullest and she always looked forward to spending time at her sister's store "Just Ducky's".
Marilyn is survived by a daughter, April L. (Richard) Tschuor of Lima, OH, 2 sons, Adam T. (Jennifer) Wright of Lima, OH and Aaron R. (Temple) Wright of Lima, OH, 7 grandchildren, Samantha Tschuor, Tyler Tschuor, Jeremy Wright, Matthew Wright, Ashton Wright, Joann Williamson and Kenneth Williamson, 2 great grandchildren Ethan Wright and Addison Wright, 2 sisters, Dorothy Lee (James) Harris of Marion, OH and Carolyn "Ducky" (Richard) Allen of Lima, OH.
Friends may call on Sunday September 28, 2014 at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL from 2-8 pm.
The funeral service will be held at the SHAWNEE CHAPEL on Monday, September 29, 2014 at 10:00 am. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Jim Mason. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery following the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Rita's Hospice.

Finally, the family would extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Henry Gerad, his staff and the nurses at St. Rita's Hospital on 5 K for all of their tremendous care and compassion.
