MARJORIE ANN JOHNSON
UNIOPOLIS — Marjorie Ann Johnson, 84, of Uniopolis entered into eternal life on Wednesday, December 28 at Otterbein Cridersville.
Ann was born August 25, 1932 in Westminster, OH the daughter of the late Harrison Blaine and Gladys Glorina Parker. She was the third born out of 6 siblings. She graduated from Alger High School in 1952. On September 21, 1952 she married James L. Johnson of Alger, who survives.
Ann devoted her life to family, faith and service to others. She was a parishioner in the United Methodist Church (Uniopolis) and active in the United Methodist Women. For the last 30 years, she was a member at the Church of the Nazarene (Wapakoneta). Ann taught Sunday school and loved helping children with crafts at Vacation Bible School. Over the years she served as a Girl Scouts troop leader, volunteered at the Uniopolis Jamboree, helped organize the Uniopolis Historical Society Museum, and successfully advocated to establish a village park for the families of Uniopolis. For 20 years Ann was employed by Wapakoneta School District as a bus driver.
Left to cherish Ann's memory and celebrate her life are devoted husband James "Jim" Johnson of Uniopolis; daughter Cindy (Joan McLean) of Delaware, OH; son Kevin (Christine) of Worthington, OH; grandchildren Tyler, Chelsea, Trevor, Hannah and Emma Johnson of Worthington; brothers Gene Watts (Joyce) of Lima; Russell Parker (Carol) of Lima; Jeralon Parker Young of Harrod; sister-in-law Lois Johnson Shaw (Bernard) of Alger; and beloved nieces and nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by sister Vondale Tomberg Senkarik; brother Jerry Parker; brother-in-law Randall Young, and sisters-in-law Kay England and Sandy Parker.
A celebration of Ann will be held Saturday, January 14 at the Church of the Nazarene of Wapakoneta (401 Court Street). Family will receive friends from 10 - 11 a.m. followed by a service and light lunch. In the spring Ann's ashes will be interred during a private ceremony at Fairmount Cemetery.

Dear Jim and Family, I as so sorry for the loss of your loved one. Ann was a lovely lady and I always enjoyed being with her and the rest of the extended family. I grieve with you in your loss but I rejoice with you that we know she is with her Heavenly Father and other loved ones and that we will see her once again never again to part.
