Phyllis Swartz-Hatton

1945 - 2022

LIMA -- Phyllis K. Swartz-Hatton, age 76, entered her Heavenly Home at 9:34 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022, at home with her family by her side.

Phyllis was born March 27, 1945 in Lima, OH, to Roy C. and Paulene Ruth (Cochran) Hatton who both preceded her in death.

Phyllis attended Lima Senior High School. She had previously worked for Shriners Hospital in Tampa, Florida and most recently the Casa Lu Al Restaurant. She was a proud mom and grandma who loved spending time with her family. She was a lifelong member of the Fraternal Order of Orioles, Nest 173, Lima.

She is survived by three children, Virginia "Ginny" (Danny Neal) Freytag of Lima, Johnny (Terri) Boyles of Lima, and Cindy (Charles Newland) Boyles of Lima; eleven grandchildren, Larry (Brittany) Frese, III of Van Wert, Sandy (Matt Hale) Frese of Cridersville, Jessica Robbins of Romulus, MI, Johnny (Amanda) Boyles, Jr. of Ada, Jaysen Boyles of Lima, Austin Boyles of Lima, Chelsea (Ian) Lott of Lima, Brittney Diehl of Lima, Patricia (William) Wright of Lima, Scot Alex (Briana) Sprague of Lima, and Drake (Toree Stewart) Boyles of Lima; sixteen great-grandchildren; brother, Tom (Debbie) Hatton of Lima; three sisters, Joyce (Ted) Wildermuth of Marysville, MI, Sharon Holliday of Land O' Lakes, FL, and Anna Leach of Lima.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Swartz; two brothers, Roy Hatton, Jr. and Mike Hatton; and brother-in-law, Robert Leach.

Funeral services will begin at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2022, at CHILES - LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Rev. Joe Compton Jr. will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, prior to the service at the funeral home.
