RICHARD BENROTH
BLUFFTON — Richard D. Benroth, 80, of Bluffton died at 7:42 pm March 13, 2016 at his residence. Richard was born July 1, 1935 in Bluffton to the late Emory and Cleona Welty Benroth. On May 5, 1961 he married Jane Alspach and she survives.
Richard retired from Hysan Automotive, Findlay. He was a graduate of Bluffton High School and served in the US Army.
Survivors also include two sons, Scott (Jane) Benroth of Bluffton, Greg (Traci) Benroth of Mt. Cory, two daughters, Brenda (Nick) Mathewson of Ada, Cynthia (William) Fulford of Cridersville, seven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, five great grand-children, nine step-great grandchildren, and two brothers, Ronald (Karen) Benroth of Bluffton and Rodger (Kathy) Benroth of Ft. Wayne, IN.
A Memorial service will begin at 2 pm Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton. Rev. David Good will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association. Online condolences may be expressed at www.chilesfh.com.
