Robert Hawk Obituary
LIMA -- Robert "Bobbie" D. Hawk, 75, passed away April 20, 2023, at 7:20 am, at Lima Memorial Health System.
Robert "Bobbie" was born February 18, 1948 in Lima, OH, to Wallace and Geneva (Brenneman) Hawk who preceded him in death. On June 9, 1972 he married Joan (Jones) Hawk who preceded him in death on February 16, 2020.
Bobbie graduated from Bath High School in 1967. He was a Welder for Anderson GuardRail / Trinity Industries. Bobbie enjoyed being outside camping and boating. In his younger years he loved hunting and fishing. He loved his Ohio State Buckeyes and watching the Cincinnati Bengals. Bobbie loved tinkering in his garage and building things. He also enjoyed grilling and smoking meats.
Bobbie is survived by his daughter, Andrea (Jeremy) Saylor of Franklin, OH, brother, Johnnie (Rose) Hawk of Lima, OH, numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs, Emily and Scarlet.
He preceded in death by his brother, Wallace "Wally" G.A Hawk and sister-in-law, Cheryl Hawk.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 7:00pm at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Eastside Chapel.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Eastside Chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lima Memorial Foundation please gift to the Dialysis Unit.
