RUTH REDDERSEN
LIMA — Ruth H. Reddersen, 97, died at 8:50 AM on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Lima Manor, Lima, Ohio.
Ruth was born on Monday, November 12, 1917, in St Mary's, Ohio, to the late Fred C. and Cora (Easterly) Hoverman. On Sunday, November 10, 1940, she married Robert C. Reddersen, who preceded her in death August 24, 1994.
Mrs. Reddersen was a life time member of Zion Lutheran Church; Zion Lutheran Church, Lima, Ohio. She was active in many activities there including; the organization of the Healing/Prayer Shawl Ministry, the Women's Organization, the Ruth Circle and as a Communion Steward of the church. She was a Charter Member of the Jay-C-Ettes and was a Past President. She was retired from the Metropolitan Bank, as a Customer Service Rep. She loved her extended family and a "special friend" Elaine Holtz Dollens, of Atlanta, Georgia.
Survivors include a son, Robert C. Reddersen, Lima; grandchildren, Jennifer Doxsee, Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Christopher Joel Reddersen, CO; great grandchild, Morgan Haylee Doxsee; nephews, Wayne Baughman, Albuquerque, NM and Tom Cole, Annapolis, MD; special nieces, Karen Doncoes and Kaylin Gifford, both of Phoenix, AZ; special nephew, Bill Reddersen, Warren, OH and Carl Reddersen, Warren, OH; nieces, Molly Moore, CA and Anne Davis, Warren, OH.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Velma Baughman and Esther Cole.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Zion Lutheran Church in Lima, Ohio. Pastor Kent Wilson will be officiating. Burial of ashes will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Mary's, Ohio at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.

I worked with Ms. Reddersen at The Met Bank for years. She was a classy lady and she always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone.

To the Family of Ruth Reddersen,she was my neighbor for years. We loved her and Bobby very much. We are sorry to hear of your loss. We are praying for comfort and strength for the entire family. We will certain miss her. She is in the arms of her Father. Rest in peace.
