Chris was married to Elda for 72 1/2 years. You can't hardly speak of one without speaking of the other. I grew up knowing Chris & Elda. I loved them both. They are the "salt of the earth" because of the lives they lived. Fine people that lived their lives with kindness, friendliness and giving. My mother, Beverly Morrison loved them both, she passed away in 1997. Elda & my Mom spent a lot of time together. Hopefully, they are sharing time now. Both Chris & Elda babysat me when my parents left for vacation. They would sleep in the room next to mine. I would hear their soft voices speaking as I layed in bed. And, the sound of their voices would put me to sleep. They always spoke kindly to each other. I will think of them often & try to treat my wife as well as Chris & Elda treated others. God Bless Them Both
Our kindness regards to Nadine, Don & their family.

I absolutely loved Uncle Chris and enjoyed visiting with him over the years. Too much time went by from seeing him the last time, but, he was with family that truly cared for him. What I truly admired about Uncle Chris was his honesty, his humor, and his playfulness. He will be sorely missed as he represented a generation that worked hard and lived a clean life. My condolences goes out to Nadine, Don, the kids and all that were close with Chris. May he rest in peace. Terry

Dear Nadine, Don & Family.. My thoughts and prayers are with you all..
Uncle Chris was a great man and will be missed by many..I will always remember how he liked playing games at our family dinners. He is in Heaven now, I am sure, playing games with Auntie Elda and the others in our family...RIP Uncle Chris
