Delores Levy Obituary
In addition to being a talented writer, she was a gifted landscape, portrait and quick sketch artist who taught art and English at Lodi High School, Lodi Adult School and San Joaquin Delta College over the years. She was also a very good pianist who shared her love of music and old hymns at Lodi United Methodist Church and numerous rest homes and convalescent hospitals around town. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, garage sales, decorating, raising children and attending church. Delores will be remembered as a gentle, loving woman whose Christian faith remains a source of inspiration to all.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Emma Gross; husband, Donald J. Levy; daughter, Laura Jo (Ted) Bobrow; and siblings, Lillian (Ray) Bresette, Clarence (Judy) Gross, Laura (Howard) Moland, Myron Gross, Florence (George) Kremple and Wesley (Nita) Gross. She is survived by her children, Jane (Doug) Fernandez, Nancy (Victor) Cadena, Ken (Sandy) Levy and Ted Bobrow and his wife, Kathy; grandchildren, Sarah Fernandez, Jesse Fernandez, Kelly (Matt) Toles, Kristy Cadena, Anthony Cadena, Emily (Hugo) Curiel, Greg Levy, Melissa Levy, Kayla (Zack) Bamert and Korine (Jayson) Waldo; and great-grandchildren, Kyla Harris, Jacob Toles, Taylor Toles, Angelina Cadena and Carlos Cadena and Avigail Waldo.
The family will honor Delores privately in a Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association at, World Vision at www.alz.org, or the charity of your choice.

my condolences to the Levy family. I spent many days and nights throughout my years growing up in Lodi at the Fairmont Ave. family home with Don and Delores and their beautiful children. Delores Levy was a beautiful Christian woman with incredible teaching and artistic talent.
