Frances Codispoti Obituary
FRANCES CODISPOTI
HOLDEN, W.Va. — Frances Catherine "Chica" Codispoti, age 64, of Holden, went home to be with her loving parents Bernard and Natalina Tues., Feb. 17, 2015, at Logan Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving sisters and brothers.
She was born in Holden on January 3, 1951. Frances was preceded in death not only by her parents, but her grandparents also, Sostene and Rosalia Codispoti and Pietro and Theresa Mongiardo Codispoti; a special nephew, Michael Anthony Gill, and a brother-in-law, Ernesto Rossetti.
Frances was of the Catholic faith; she loved to dance, take rides with her sister Vickie, enjoyed going to the park, and playing with all her nieces and nephews. Frances was a special gift from God. She never met a stranger. Everyone that met her loved her. She made her home with her sister and brother-in-law, Martina and Douglas Hibbs.
Not only is she survived by her sister Martina (Douglas) Hibbs, but five sisters, Rosalia Rossetti and Theresa (Robert) Iafrate, both of Beverly, Mass., and Barbara (Michael) Gill and Marie (Randy) Redmond, both of Holden, and five brothers, Sostene (Lee Ann) Codispoti of Columbus, Ohio, Pete (Chris) Codispoti of Lenoir City, Tenn., Leonard (Kelly) Codispoti of Logan, and Joe (Cindy) Codispoti and Frank Codispoti, both of Holden. Also surviving her include 16 nieces and nephews and 19 great-nieces and nephews.
Caregivers were Geraldine Butler, Betty Lambert, Odetta Frye, Lavetta Frye, and her most recent caregivers, Mary (Eugene) Akers, Sharon Workman and Phyllis Buchheit.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Fri., Feb. 20, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Logan. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum at Pecks Mill, W.Va.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at Honaker Funeral Home in Logan; there will be a Scripture Reading at 7:30 p.m.
Active pallbearers will be nephews Christopher Codispoti, Martin Codispoti, Cody Redmond, Matthew Codispoti, Stephen Codispoti, and Cameron Codispoti.
Honorary pallbearers will be her brothers and brothers-in-law, along with Eugene Akers, Teddy Workman, Jack Hatfield, Pete Frye, Jonathan Rorrer, Lucas O'Neal, Sammy Goodyear, Joey Codispoti, Jonathan Codispoti and Mario Iafrate.

I'm sorry for the loss of a special person, I love her so much, when Mary Akers took care of her, sometimes I was there. I like to remember the good times we had, the walks we take, her holding my hand, her stroking my hair, she was a bundle of joy, Chica, you will be missed, but never forgotten, you are with Jesus now and he's taking care of you, I love you baby girl, R.I.P CHICA, There's no more suffering, no more pain, you made it to heaven, Lord, please be with this family, comfort them help them in their time of need.
