Anne Vincent occupies a very special place in my heart as the mother of Scott, my dear friend since childhood. She has always embodied the ideals of grace, elegance, humanity, generosity and love.
On the many visits I enjoyed to the Vincent home in my youth, Anne was like a second mother, always welcoming me as an honorary family member. As the years passed, she remained a perennial presence of goodness. I would always enjoy the opportunity to visit with her when passing through NY, regardless of where I was coming from. After my family moved away from New Rochelle and that part of our history ended in 1988, it was comforting to know that Anne still maintained the distinctive Vincent home as a touchstone that could evoke nostalgic memories of youth.
Scott has provided some lovely photos of Anne spanning the many decades of her life. One thing remains constant in each of them, her smile reveals a special spirit and inner glow that is totally unchanged by the years. The mark she has left on the many lives she has touched will carry forward in the same way. We will all miss her, but our fond memories will never diminish.

She has joined the Church triumphant! As we mourn her passing, may we use this beautiful Easter season to reflect and celebrate her life well-lived. She raised a beautiful family and loved my dear Uncle so much. For these things I amever grateful. With love and faith, Jeanne Merritt Bosworth

Anne Vincent was the mother of Scott Vincent one of my first, and best childhood friends, who remains a close friend today.
I first met Anne Vincent shortly after I met Scott. And upon meeting her, the first thing that struck me was her perpetual and warm smile. Anne's unwavering positive demeanor was apparent with every time I visited Scott at home.
What impressed me the most was her constant warmth towards myself and my brother. Anne was genuinely interested, concerned, and devoted to her family. But perhaps the most impressive of Anne's qualities for me was the way she made me feel as part of her family.
And, although I will miss Anne, I will not dwell on mourning her passing. .because I know that God has welcomed her into Paradise. A Heaven where her charm and ever present smile just became a little brighter.
