CARLO COLAIANNI Obituary
Carlo Colaianni, of New Rochelle, died on September 30, 2011 at age 68. Born March 23, 1943 in Rome, Italy to Francesco & Rosa Colaianni. For 30 years, he was a dedicated restaurateur and co-proprietor of La Riserva Restaurant in Larchmont. Family was the joy of Carlo's life. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Anne (Bonito) Colaianni, cherished children, Giancarlo Colaianni, Linda Ferbert (Wayne) and Cara Colaianni, loving grandchildren, Abigail, Ella & Grace Ferbert, and dear siblings, Dino, Luigia and Silvana. Predeceased by a sister Ornella. Visitation Sunday EVENING 7-9pm and Monday 2-4 & 7-9pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME 767 E. Boston Post Rd. Mamaroneck. 914-698-5968. Funeral Mass Tuesday 10am Sts. John & Paul RC Church in Larchmont. Committal will be private. Memorial donations are requested to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the National Kidney Foundation. We are saddened by Carlo's passing. He was such a wonderful gentleman and the ultimate host. We enjoyed getting to know him when we visited the Wittichs in Larchmont and dined with them at LaRiserva. May he rest in God's peace and our prayers are with his entire family. Mike and Emily Denesha

We will miss his friendship, his food, and his fun. We shared so many wonderful times on golf courses, in restaurants, especially La Riserva, and in our respective homes in NY and FL. Family came first with Carlo but he made his friends feel like family too. While his passing brings sadness, his memory brings joy. Rest in Peace, Carlo, you are in our hearts.
