Dorothy M. O'Connor

Montrose - Dorothy M. O'Connor of Montrose, NY, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018.

Dorothy was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (nee Brady) Kingston, born on June 1, 1933 in New York, NY. Dorothy was the Ex-President of the Ladies Auxiliary with the Montrose Fire Department and Charter Member of the Cortlandt Ambulance Corps.

She is survived by her beloved children, Deborah A. Thompson and her husband Robert H. and Frank T. O'Connor; adoring grandchildren, Faith Powell and her husband Stephen and Robert O'Connor and great grandchildren, Shawn and Isabella.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 10th at 11:00 am also at the funeral home. Interment will follow a Sunset Cemetery in Montrose, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dorothy's name can be made to: the American Cancer Society www.cancer.org or to the Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org
