FRANCESCO VERSACE Obituary

Francesco (Frank) Versace, 88, of Port Chester, NY died on September 28th surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Versace was born on September 3rd 1921 in Italy to Giuseppe and Antonia Versace. He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years Josephine Cotroneo and his three brothers Vincentzo and Filippo of Italy and Letterio of Port Chester and one sister Maria Marchetta of Italy. Francesco is survived by his son Joseph and wife Anne (Radice), and daughter Anne Manning and husband Robert, and one granddaughter Jaimee, all of Port Chester. Frank was a devoted family man who brought his family from Italy to America. No sacrifice was ever too great for his loved ones. Visitations will be Thursday from 4-8pm at Gunipero funeral home and a Mass of Catholic Burial on Friday at 10:30am at Holy Rosary Church. Interment to follow at St. Mary's cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Connecticut Campaign Against Cooley's Anemia:356 Augusta Dr Orange, CT 06477 or the Cooley's Anemia Foundation:330 Seventh AVE Suite 900 New York, NY 10001.
