My condolences to the family. Last time I saw Joe was at a high school reunion. I told him that he and his friends saved us on a school canoe trip, searched for us for two hours. It was their determination and singing in the dark night -- three part harmony, no less. Always thought he was a good guy, good natured, and a good singer.

I spoke to Joe on and off for I think almost 20 years due to business issues. He was always so bubbly and nice no matter what the issue was. We had some great conversations and many laughs over the years. I always hung up smiling.
Thanks Joe and Godspeed

Joe and the Bookends Band are etched in my memories of college (College of Mount St. Vincent). He was a great singer and like his father, gone too soon.

We hadnt seen each other in years, no matter, I always knew he was there. The thought of him always made me smile because my image of him was always smiling. Great memories, great guy. Love you, Joe.
