Mary Cassetta Obituary
Mary Cassetta passed away December 11, 2014 at the age of 85 was born Mary Moschella on November 25, 1929 to Giuseppe Moschella and Giovanna Scarcella in Blawnox (Pittsburgh) Pa.She attended school there,with a brief interruption because of the death of her mom in 1940. She married Anthony Cassetta on April 23, 1960 in Queens, NY and settled in Dobbs Ferry, NY to raise a family.She and her husband moved to New Port Richey, Fl in 1984 and enjoyed their retirement.Anthony died July 9, 2007 and in 2011, Mary moved to Sloatsburg to live with her daughter Joanne. She made the most of her life with her children and extended family, until she could go no farther.
She is survived by her children Toni (Charles) Sacco of Port Chester, NY, Joanne (Kenny) Pezzuti of Sloatsburg,NY and Joseph Cassetta of Putnam Valley, NY.She is also survived by her brother Carmello Moschella of Gibsonia, Pa and predeceased by her brother James Moschella and her sister Rose LaGalia.
While there will be no wake, please join us for Mass at St Joan of Arc Church, Sloatsburg NY on Friday December 19,2014 at 10:30 AM. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Scarr Funeral Home, Route 202, Suffern.

From Fr Brian, chaplain at Good Sam - so taken with the beautiful passing of Mary and peace of her family;O LORD, the departed, whom we now remember, have entered into the peace of life eternal. They still live on earth in the acts of goodness they performed, and in the hearts of those of us who cherish their memories. May the beauty of their lives abide among us as a loving benediction. We make our prayer through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.
