MATTHEW STUEN Obituary

Matthew Lloyd Stuen, age 18, died on February 4, 2004 in his sleep from complications stemming from a seizure disorder. He was a freshman at Weidner University in Chester, PA. He was born April 11, 1985 in Manhattan, lived in Katonah, NY with his parents. Matthew is survived by his parents: Dr. Cynthia Stuen and Rev. Dr. William A. Weisenbach and his sister, Emily Weisenbach of New York City; his maternal grandmother, Adelia Stuen of Utica, SD and his paternal grandparents: Albert and Ruth Weisenbach of Lansdale, PA. Dr. Weisenbach is the Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Katonah. Matt attended St. Michaels Montessori School, the United Nations International School, Garrison Public Schools, the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry and graduated from John Jay High School in Cross River, NY. A Business major, Matthew discovered his love of the outdoors during a semester at the High Mountain Institute, Leadville, CO. He was known to friends and family for his gift of whit, "Matthew was a natural comedian". Visiting hours will be at Clark Associates Funeral Home, Katonah, NY on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Memorial Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Katonah, 31 Bedford Road on Monday at 11:32 am. A Reception will follow in the Church Hall. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to "The Matthew Lloyd Stuen Memorial Fund" of the First Presbyterian Church of Katonah, 31 Bedford Road, Katonay, NY 10536.
