Its been 10 years since my Dads passing and 28 years since my Mom Died of cancer. I dont know how to explain how Empty and alone I have felt all these years without my parents. No matter how long you have your parents, when they are gone it leaves big hole in your life. No one can ever replace them and living without their support and guidance is difficult. I miss them both so much and think about them everyday.

DEAREST SARA,
I hope you remember me. I am Barry and Carole Chooljian's cousin from Fresno, Bob Koligisn. I have the fondest of memories of Sparky and, having lost my Father one year ago, also, I know how deep the loss is to you, and to all of us who were privileged to have known Sparky. Please know that my prayers of support are with you and I hope that we see one another this year, with a smile, at the tennis in March. A smile, to the best of my knowledge, is the best way to honor the memory of someone we love so much.
A Big Hug,

BOB

I am Dads oldest son. Dad was always a very private person in our family. Always off at work, always moving on professionally but was basically a very good man and provider.
After my Mom died in 1991, Dad remarried quickly and lived a life separate from his first family. I will never understand why that happened but I must say that, based on what I have learned about him after his death, he was a good man to his second family as well. Wish I could have known my Dad better. Good Bye Dad......

Sara, my thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. Sparky was such a kind, gentle man. It was an honor to have met him.

My Grandpa Scruffy was the most intelligent person I've ever known. I could sit and talk with him for hours about anything from crawdad fishing to politics and was always learning new things. I lost my Grandpa Jilly in 1992 and live across the country from my Grandpa Rich, so even though Scruffy was my Step Grandpa I never thought of him that way and he was very special to me. When I was younger and would visit my Grandparents in the desert, he taught me to ride my bike & how to swim under water. He was a strong, witty, bright, and loving person and was my Grandma Sara's other half. I will miss him forever.

My granddaughter and I share a 'special
memory' of Bill. A few summers ago, at our complex in Tahoe, we came upon a tiny bird in distress. It's feet had become entwined in netting that was put on freshly planted grass seed. Not sure we could handle the task of freeing this little creature, we looked up the path, and saw an Angel (Bill) tending to his garden. After hearing of our dilemma, he immediately walked over, and with gentle, caring hands, freed the bird. The smile on my granddaughter Olivia's face, said nothing less then "You are my hero. Thank you so, so much." Angie Carusillo and Olivia Myer
