Anna Pulzone Obituary
89, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Louisville, KY, she resided in Elmwood Park, NJ for over 40 years before moving to Hillsborough. She was a former parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church in Fair Lawn. An involved member of her community, Anna served as a councilwoman and member of the Planning Board of Elmwood Park, served as the Director of the Bergen County Community Development Division and was the confidential aid to Executive Freeholder Richard Mola.
Prior to retiring, she was the County Adjuster with the County of Bergen.
Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Pulzone. Loving and devoted mother of Katherine Pulzone, Joseph Pulzone and wife Robyn (McKeown). Loving mother-in-law of the late Marjorie (Dye) Pulzone; grandmother of Loree, Joseph, Marlon, Caitlyn and Kelsey and great-grandmother of Sofia, Joseph and Ayden. Cherished sister of the late Elbert Hall, Russell Hall and Carolyn Smith.
The family will receive relatives and friends Monday 4-8 PM at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ, 201-797-3500. A funeral service is planned for Tuesday, September 27, 2016, 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories in Washington Township.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Anna to the Elmwood Park Volunteer Ambulance Corps, 236 Falmouth Avenue, Elmwood Park, NJ 07407 would be appreciated. For additional information, please visit www.vpfairlawn.com.

Betty Guelda (Ward) Annette and Bernie's daughter.
I used to love to go to Aunt Netts house as a kid. She was a great cook.
