Anthony Gilbert Obituary
He is formerly from Fairdale, graduating in 1983 from Fairdale High, employee at TII, Navy veteran and avid Frisbee golfer.
He is survived by his children, Chasiti and Tony, Jr. "T.J.", his wife, Robin; his close friend, Penny McFarland; parents, Charles and Judith Gilbert; sisters, Tracey Stahl (Ray), Kelly Robertson (David) and Dana Hartel (Noel), brother, Chuck Gilbert.
Memorial service will be 6 p.m. Friday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home & Cremation Service 411 Fairdale Road. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Friday until time for service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the benefit of his children in care of the funeral home.

Tony was such a great guy, and a wonderful father to Chasiti and TJ. He will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to the Gilberts. Superman--you taught me who Triumph was!

Tony was devoted to his children, loyal to his family, and still an independent spirit who set his own course. He never judged - he accepted. His influence on our growing-up years cannot be forgotten. So many fun things would never have happened without him. I will remember those times, Tony.
