Clarence Williams Obituary

WILLIAMS, CLARENCE L. SR., 68, passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, August 7, 2010.

He accepted the Lord as his personal saviour at an early age. He was a retired Air Force veteran, a former employee for Jefferson County Public Schools and a well-known artist and musician.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Lorine Williams.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Yvonne Williams; 11 children, Rosemary, Christopher, Lolita, Antonio, Leonard, Kevin (Alexia), Timothy (Annetta), Clarence Jr., Tamara and Carl Williams, and Bernadette Johnson (Robert); his former wife, Doris Williams; seven siblings, Essie Stokes, Annie Hobbs, Alice Holman, Deborah Marlow, Lawrence, Jerry and Wayne Williams; and a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday, A.D. Porter & Sons-Southeast Funeral Home, 4501 Bardstown Rd. Burial: 10 a.m. Monday in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, Radcliff, KY. Visitation: noon Saturday at the funeral home.
