To Connie's family,
I only met Connie once a few years ago at lunch with my friend, Rosemary. It was a great time. Eventhough Connie, had been battling cancer, she was upbeat and beamed about her kids. I have continued to think about her. My sympathy to you and God's mercy and love surround you at this time.
Peace and love,
Shari DeVonish

My thoughts and prayers go to Sara and Connie's family. We went to Transylvania together. Although we all went our seperate ways, our college days together will always be our bond. I am sorry to hear Connie lost her battle with cancer, but she is at peace now.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to the family of Connie and Sara. Both were women with tender hearts and beautiful smiles. When I last saw Connie, she glowed as she told me about her children and exuded a confidence and joy that was contagious. God bless you and know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Sending all my love to Sally, DA, Louise, and Connie's children Graham and Margaret who I hope will learn as they grow older what a truly great girl and class act their mother was... a lovely, pretty, smart and funny lady who would enjoy my description of her:
a combination of Zenyatta and Rachel Alexandra.
Lots of love from

Connie was such a devoted mother. We all really enjoyed having her in Louisville. In the coming years, I will be sure to remind Graham and Margaret how important they were to her, and how proud she is of them.

I knew Connie when we were both parents at Kentucky Country Day School. One day I told her I could not come to a meeting because my mother had just died. She asked me my mother's name (which was Constance also) and wrote it down. I saw her again about a week later and she told me she had arranged for a mass to be said in honor of my mother at one of the mid day services of her church. I will never forget how touched I was that someone I didn't know well at the time would go to all that trouble for me. I am so sorry she has lost this battle, but I wanted her children to know that this was the type of woman their mother was. She was a sweet and loving person.
