David Ramsey Obituary

RAMSEY, DAVID "PRESTON," 82, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2006, at his residence. He was a retired Truck Driver for ASRC, Inc., where he had worked for 25 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving with the 400th A.F.A.Bn and a member of the Millcreek VFW post and Teamsters Local 89. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet G. Ramsey. He is survived by a son, David Ramsey Jr. (Sandy); daughters, Judy Tabeling and Rozy Kessinger (Joe); stepdaughters, Barbara Yates (Ted) and Sandi Smith (Terry); a brother, Willard Ramsey; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. His funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2006, at The Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.

So sorry to hear of Preston's passing. I saw him when Susie was in the funeral home and thought he was going back pretty fast then. Chuck and Karen just found out today (monday) they didnt listen to the radio and said would have tried to gone up yesterday while Chuck was off. I had heard but didn't think about them aiming to come up. We,Karen, Chuck and all of us are thinking of you all.
